Acid Yellow 42, ethylene glycol, thiodiethanol, ethyleneurea [120-93-4], I, and water were mixed and filtered to yield a black ink having viscosity 8.2 cP (25°), surface tension 47.0 dyne/cm, pH 9.8, which gave initial printings of good quality after a 3-day shutdown. .
