DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 66 (Surface Chemistry and Colloids) Section cross-reference(s): 68 Elec. properties of mixed anionic-nonionic surfactants in aq. solns. above the CMC were studied in term of pNa values, elec. conductivities, and dielec. consts. Elec. cond. 84425-94-5 and 9004-95-9 are cas registry numbers of chemicals which are used as reagents here. and dielec. const. were measured in the frequency range 220 Hz to 1 MHz. The degree of ionic dissocn. and the no. of effective carriers (Na+) of mixed micelle increase with increasing concn. of nonionic surfactant. In spite of the increase of the no. of carriers (Na+), the activation energy for conduction increases with increasing concn. of nonionic surfactant. This may be attributed to the fact that the surface charge densities of counterions of mixed micelles decrease with increasing mixed micellar sizes. .

When the suppository base consisted of polyethyleneglycol cetyl ether [9004-95-9] (1%) the ratios in young, adult, and old dogs were 20.1, 15.6, and 11.6%, resp. 9004-95-9 and 1403-66-3 which are cas registry numbers of substances are two of reagents here. When the suppository base consisted of saponin (1%) the ratios were 24.2, 25.0, and 14.5%, resp. .
