Effects of dietary composition on the activities of oxalacetate carboxylase and some enzymes in fish
Effects of dietary composition on the activities of oxalacetate carboxylase and some enzymes in fish. Morinaga, Taiko (Fukuoka Women's Univ., Fukuoka, Japan). Seikatsu Kagaku, 11(1-2), 23-30 (Japanese) 1977. CODEN: SKAGAG. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 18 (Animal Nutrition) The effect of dietary compn. on the activities of oxalacetate decarboxylase (I) [9024-98-0] and some enzymes of yellowtail, Seriola quinqueradiata, and of red sea bream, Pagrus major, which were refed diets of different compns. after fasting, was investigated. Hepatic gluconeogenesis by yellowtail and glycolysis by red sea bream were increased by fasting. The activity of hepatic malate enzyme [9028-47-1] of the above fishes was increased by the fasting, whereas that of mammals was decreased. Activities of I and phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase [9073-94-3] in liver were decreased during fasting and increased during repletion. I activity of muscle was not affected by dietary carbohydrate and fat. Activities of hepatic pyruvate kinase [9001-59-6], malate enzyme, and I were somewhat increased as the carbohydrate content was increased.
Measurement of human seminal components and their medicolegal application
Measurement of human seminal components and their medicolegal application. Terazawa, Koichi (Sch. Med., Hokkaido Univ., Sapporo, Japan). Hokkaido Igaku Zasshi, 58(5), 453-66 (Japanese) 1983.Some commonly used reagents like 651-48-9 and 9001-96-1 are used in this experiment. CODEN: HOIZAK. ISSN: 0367-6102. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 4 (Toxicology) Microdetn. of low-mol. components in human seminal plasma was established, which includes dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (I) [651-48-9], spermine (II) [71-44-3], and citric acid (III) [77-92-9]. I was measured by radioimmunoassay using anti-I-17-hydrazone conjugated bovine serum albumin rabbit antiserum. II and III were detd. spectrophotometrically with monoamine oxidase [9001-66-5] and with citrate lyase [9012-83-3], oxaloacetate decarboxylase [9024-98-0], and pyruvate oxidase [9001-96-1], resp. The stability of them was also studied. .
