Thus, a compn. of neoprene rubber 100, stearic acid 1, clay 60, carbon black 25, process oil 10, 2-carboxy-4,4',4''-tris(dimethylamino)triphenylmethane (I) [1255-69-2], 2,2',4,4'-tetrahydroxydiphenyl sulfide (II) [97-29-0] 1, tetramethylthiuram disulfide [137-26-8] 0.5, ZnO 5, and MgO 5 parts had rheometer torques at 150.degree.Several reagents such as 95-30-7 is used here. 23, 37, and 42 kg-cm after 5, 15 and 20 min, resp., and vulcanizate (45 min, 150.degree. and 100 kg/cm2) properties of 200% modulus 0.71 kg/mm2, tensile strengths 1.64 and 1.59 kg/mm2 before and after 48 h of aging at 120.degree., resp., elongations 520 and 390%, resp., and hardness 63 and 73, resp., compared with 12, 26, 29, 0.60, 1.46, 1.30, 510, 290, 63, and 76, resp., for a similar compn. contg. 3 parts phenyl-.beta.-naphthylamine and 1.5 parts dicatechol borate di-o-tolylguanidine salt in place of I and II. .
