The pH of the mixt. is adjusted to 7-11. The water-insol. Ni-dimethylglyoxime complex is removed by conventional liq.-solid sepn. Thus, Ni concns. in wastewater samples were decreased from 1.32 to £0.5 mg/L by the addn. of HCHO or Na2S and 10 mg/L of di-Me glyoxime. The ppt. was removed by filtration.
