Uses
2,3-Dibromopropanol (96-13-9) is used in organic synthesis as a solvent and flame retardant. It is also used as an intermediate of antidote dimercaprolum, polyurethane foam, unsaturated polyester, phenolic, epoxy resin and polypropylene flame-retardant products.
