The sepn. of salvianolic acid was carried out on Symmetry Shield RP18 column, with methanol-water-acetic acid (5:94.5:0.5) as mobile phase at flow rate of 1.0 mL/min and wavelength of 280 nm. Linear relationship was obtained in the range of 9.5-152 mg/L (R > 0.9999). The av. recovery was 98.9% and RSD (n = 5) was 0.97%. This study provided a simple, accurate, and feasible method for the detn. of salvianolic acid, and a usable integrated quality evaluation as well as a quality control for yangxinshengmaikeli. .
