The temp. was gradually raised to room temp. over 7.5 h, the reaction soln. was filtered and the solvent removed to give 17.8 g triethyltrifluorovinylsilane (II) [680-76-2] as colorless transparent oil. II (2.18 g) was heated for 10 days at 180° in the presence of 57 mg CsF to give 214 mg polymer [93837-67-3] (yield 31.1%). .
