Uses
Boc-L-3-Nitrophenylalanine is a protected derivative of L-Phenylalanine (P319415), and is used in the photocleavage of polypeptide backbones. L-Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid. L-Phenylalanine is biologically converted into L-tyrosine, another one of the DNA-encoded amino acids, which in turn is converted to L-DOPA and further converted into dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 131980-29-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,1,9,8 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 9 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 131980-29:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*1)+(5*9)+(4*8)+(3*0)+(2*2)+(1*9)=125
125 % 10 = 5
So 131980-29-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
