153088-73-4 Usage
Description
Z-Asp-CH2-DCB is a peptide originally synthesized for its ability to inactivate the interleukin-1β-converting enzyme, which is the homolog of the C. elegans positive regulator of apoptosis CED-3. Z-Asp-CH2-DCB has been shown to block apoptosis by nonselectively inhibiting caspase activity. At 1-100 μM, it can dose-dependently block the production of IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6, and IFN-γ by human peripheral blood mononuclear cells as well as inhibit T cell proliferation.
Uses
Z-Asp-2,6-dichlorobenzoyloxymethylketone is a broad Caspase Inhibitor.

Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 153088-73-4 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,5,3,0,8 and 8 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 7 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 153088-73:
(8*1)+(7*5)+(6*3)+(5*0)+(4*8)+(3*8)+(2*7)+(1*3)=134
134 % 10 = 4
So 153088-73-4 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
