It is also known as Dioxaphosphorinane oxide or Trioxaphosphorinane oxide. 1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinane-2-oxide is a cyclic organic phosphate that contains a five-membered ring with an oxygen and phosphorus atom. It is used as a reactant in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. It also has potential applications in the field of organic chemistry as a reagent for organic reactions. Additionally, 1,3,2-dioxaphosphorinane-2-oxide can serve as a building block for the preparation of other phosphorus-containing compounds.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 16352-21-9 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,6,3,5 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 1 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 16352-21:
(7*1)+(6*6)+(5*3)+(4*5)+(3*2)+(2*2)+(1*1)=89
89 % 10 = 9
So 16352-21-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

First synthesis of H-phosphonate oligonucleotides bearing N-unmodified bases
Wada, Takeshi,Honda, Fumio,Sato, Yuichi,Sekine, Mitsuo
, p. 915 - 918 (2007/10/03)
Oligodeoxyribonucleotides bearing H-phosphonate internucleotidic linkages and unmodified nucleobases were synthesized for the first time by the new H-phosphonate method using N-unprotected monomers. The 6-hydroxyhexyl phosphonates at both the 5' and 3' ends were found to be highly effective for stabilization of the H-phosphonate oligonucleotides. Solid-phase synthesis of H-phosphonate oligodeoxyribonucleotides containing dA, dC, dG, and T was achieved.
