General Description
Apiopaeonoside is a natural chemical compound found in the roots of the Paeonia lactiflora plant, also known as Chinese peony. It belongs to the category of glycosides and has been studied for its potential pharmaceutical properties. Apiopaeonoside has been shown to exhibit anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and neuroprotective effects in various experimental models. It has also been investigated for its potential use in the treatment of neurological disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and skin conditions. apiopaeonoside continues to be of interest to researchers for its potential therapeutic applications and is the subject of ongoing studies.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 100291-86-9 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,0,0,2,9 and 1 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 100291-86:
(8*1)+(7*0)+(6*0)+(5*2)+(4*9)+(3*1)+(2*8)+(1*6)=79
79 % 10 = 9
So 100291-86-9 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Five new antioxidative glycosides named galloyl-oxypaeoniflorin, suffruticosides A, B, C, and D, and a new paeonol glycoside named suffruticoside E have been isolated from Chinese Moutan Cortex, the root cortex of Paeonia suffruticosa Andrews, together with antioxidative galloyl-paeoniflorin. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical and physichochemical evidences. Galloyl-oxypaeoniflorin, galloyl-paeoniflorin, suffruticosides A, B, C, and D showed more potent radical scavenging and antioxidative effects than α-tocopherol.
