This organic compound consists of a benzene ring with two oxybis(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl) groups attached to it. The presence of bulky and highly branched tetramethylbutyl groups makes this compound useful as a hindered phenol antioxidant, primarily in the rubber and plastics industries.
