Description
Acid Blue 168 is a red light navy blue to blue-gray powder that is soluble in water. It exhibits various reactions when mixed with different acids and bases, such as forming a shallow orange solution in strong sulfuric acid, a red light blue solution with precipitation in strong hydrochloric acid, and remaining unchanged in a thick sodium hydroxide solution. Its water solution is blue, and it may later exhibit suspended dye exhalation, which can be improved by adding a suitable amount of phosphate three sodium.Uses
Used in Textile Industry:Acid Blue 168 is used as a dye for various types of fabrics, including wool, silk, silk, polyvinyl alcohol, nylon, Victoria/ viscose blends, and wool/rayon blended fabrics. It is utilized in both dyeing and printing processes.
Used in Leather Industry:
