General Description

1-Phenyl-5-(4,4,5,5-tetraMethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C16H20BNO2. It is a pyrazole derivative containing a boron-containing heterocycle. 1-Phenyl-5-(4,4,5,5-tetraMethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole is often used in organic synthesis as a reagent for carbon-carbon bond formation, particularly in Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions. It is also used as a ligand in catalytic processes. The tetramethyl dioxaborolane moiety in the molecule provides stability and facilitates the boron-mediated coupling reactions.
