Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 134769-33-8 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,3,4,7,6 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 3 and 3 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 134769-33:
(8*1)+(7*3)+(6*4)+(5*7)+(4*6)+(3*9)+(2*3)+(1*3)=148
148 % 10 = 8
So 134769-33-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

(Chemical Equation Presented) A method to obtain (Z)-β,γ- unsaturated nitriles in high or good yields and with moderate or high stereoselectivity is described. The products were achieved through the photoinduced metalation of 3-acetoxy-4-chloronitriles with Sml2. The starting compounds were readily prepared, and a mechanism is proposed to explain this stereoselective β-elimination reaction.
