Usage

Description

FLUQUINCONAZOLE is a broad-spectrum fungicide belonging to the triazole class of chemicals. It is effective against various fungal pathogens, including Ascomycetes, Deuteromycetes, and Basidiomycetes. FLUQUINCONAZOLE works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of fungal cell membranes, which leads to the disruption of the cell membrane's integrity and ultimately the death of the fungus.

Uses

Used in Agricultural Industry:
FLUQUINCONAZOLE is used as a fungicide for the protection and treatment of a wide range of fungal diseases in both broadleaved and cereal crops. It is particularly effective in controlling diseases caused by Ascomycetes, Deuteromycetes, and Basidiomycetes, ensuring healthy crop growth and increased yield.
FLUQUINCONAZOLE is used as a foliar application for the control of fungal diseases in agricultural crops. The application reason is its ability to effectively target and eliminate a broad spectrum of fungal pathogens, thus protecting the crops from damage and promoting healthy growth.

Metabolic pathway

The limited available published information states that fluconquinazole is metabolised to 1,2,4-triazole in plants and mammals. In soils it is hydrolysed slowly.
