Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 13762-14-6 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,3,7,6 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 13762-14:
(7*1)+(6*3)+(5*7)+(4*6)+(3*2)+(2*1)+(1*4)=96
96 % 10 = 6
So 13762-14-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Dependence of magnetic properties on structure in the systems NiMoO4 and CoMoO4
Sieber,Kershaw,Dwight,Wold
, p. 2667 - 2669 (2008/10/08)
The defect rock-salt phases of NiMoO4 and CoMoO4 were prepared, and their magnetic susceptibilities were measured. The μeff values for nickel and cobalt were consistent with Ni(II) (3d8) and high-spin Co(II) (3d7), and the θ values were 20 and 12 K, respectively. When NiMoO4 or CoMoO4 was pressed at 50 kbar, the resulting product cyrstallized with the wolframite structure. The θ values for the high-pressure phases of nickel and cobalt molybdate were -102 and -105 K, respectively. The difference in the magnetic properties between the high- and low-pressure polymorphs was found to be consistent with the results of an analysis of the magnetic interaction paths in the defect rock-salt structure relative to the wolframite structure.
