The invention discloses a preparation method of a double-terminal amino type hydrophilic chain extender. The method comprises the following steps: dissolving ethylenediamine in a solvent, dispersing, controlling the temperature of a system, dropwise adding 1, 3-propane sultone into the system, controlling the dropwise adding speed, keeping the temperature of the system, controlling the dropwise adding time to be 2-4 hours, and controlling the later aging time to be 2-5 hours; after a secondary amine value and a total amine value of a sample are monitored through central control sampling, adding alkali to carry out an acid-base reaction on a sulfonic acid part of the sample, regulating the pH to a proper range, removing a solvent existing in a system under reduced pressure, and finally adding water to adjust the solid content to a proper range, so that a double-terminal amino type hydrophilic chain extender aqueous solution can be obtained. The invention provides a preparation method of a double-terminal amino type hydrophilic chain extender similar to ethylenediamine esilate in structure and property; wherein the ring-opening reaction and selectivity of 1,3-propane sultone are utilized, and selective synthesis is carried out in an aqueous solution; the synthesis process is simple, a large number of organic solvents are not needed, a complicated post-treatment process is not needed, the preparation method is green and environment-friendly, and the industrialization degree is high.
