General Description

3-acetyl-10,11-dihydro-5H-dibenzo[c,g]chromen-8(9H)-one, also known as "isowogonin" is a naturally occurring flavone compound found in various plants such as Scutellaria baicalensis. It is a derivative of the flavonoid wogonin, and has been studied for its potential pharmacological properties including anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and neuroprotective effects.
