Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 18419-84-6 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 1,8,4,1 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 8 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 18419-84:
(7*1)+(6*8)+(5*4)+(4*1)+(3*9)+(2*8)+(1*4)=126
126 % 10 = 6
So 18419-84-6 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Paragraph 0033-0041, (2016/10/07)
The invention relates to the technical field of chemical industry, in particular to a purification method and an application of dioxethyl-tetramethyl-disilane. A reduced pressure distillation method is utilized for purifying 1, 2-dioxethyl-1, 1, 2, 2-tetramethyl-disilane, and in the reduced pressure distillation process, fillers of a rectifying column for the reduced pressure distillation include magnesium chips, calcium chloride or mixture of the magnesium chips and the calcium chloride. In purification steps of the 1, 2-dioxethyl-1, 1, 2, 2-tetramethyl-disilane, the magnesium chips and/or calcium chloride are/is used as the fillers in the reduced pressure distillation, so that removal of residual hydrogen chloride and ethanol in a reaction system is facilitated, and the 1, 2-dioxethyl-1, 1, 2, 2-tetramethyl-disilane with high purity can be obtained.
