1990-22-3 Usage
General Description
Triamyl phosphite, also known as triisopentyl phosphite, is a chemical compound with the formula C15H33O3P. It is a clear, colorless to pale yellow liquid that is insoluble in water and soluble in most organic solvents. Triamyl phosphite is primarily used as a stabilizer and plasticizer in various polymer applications, such as PVC and rubber, to improve their thermal stability and flame retardancy. It is also used as a chemical intermediate in the production of antioxidants and lubricants. Additionally, triamyl phosphite can be employed as a catalyst in organic synthesis reactions. Due to its low acute toxicity, it is considered to have minimal health hazards when handled and used properly.
Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1990-22-3 includes 7 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 4 digits, 1,9,9 and 0 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 2 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1990-22:
(6*1)+(5*9)+(4*9)+(3*0)+(2*2)+(1*2)=93
93 % 10 = 3
So 1990-22-3 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Synthesis and characterization of alkoxyethoxyphosphoryl amines
Lin, Whei Oh,Vieira, Antonio Fabio,Cano, Fabio Bicalho,De Souza Coutinho, Edson
experimental part, p. 1209 - 1217 (2009/04/07)
A series of potential polidentate ligands were developed. The alkoxyethoxy-phosphorylamines were prepared by phosphorylation of different amines with the appropriate dialkoxyethyl phosphite in a two-phase reaction. The characterization of these compounds was carried out by IR, Mass, and NMR spectroscopy. The properties of these compounds as a chelating agent were investigated by direct UV titration technique.
