Usage

General Description

Ozarelix is a synthetic decapeptide and an antagonist of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) with potential antineoplastic activity. It works by shutting down the body's own production of testosterone, decreasing the amount of testosterone available to prostate cancer cells which need testosterone to grow. Ozarelix may also be used for the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy, uterine fibroids and endometriosis. Some common side effects of Ozarelix include hot flashes, breast tenderness or enlargement, and decreased sexual desire.
