Usage

General Description

Aflatoxicol II is an unnatural isomer of aflatoxin, a naturally occurring toxin produced by certain molds. It is a secondary metabolite that can be found in contaminated food and feed products, particularly in grains and nuts. Aflatoxicol II has been identified as a potent liver carcinogen and has been linked to a variety of adverse health effects in humans and animals. Exposure to aflatoxicol II can occur through ingestion of contaminated food or inhalation of mold spores.
