Usage

General Description

Allyldimethoxymethylsilane, also known as ADMS, is a colorless, flammable liquid with the chemical formula C7H16O2Si. It is commonly used as a coupling agent in the production of various silicone-based materials and polymers. ADMS is also used as a crosslinking agent in the manufacturing of silicone rubber and as a precursor in the synthesis of organic compounds. It is also known for its reactivity and ability to undergo various chemical reactions, such as hydrolysis and condensation reactions. Additionally, ADMS is considered to have low toxicity and is not expected to pose significant health risks when used and handled properly.
