REACTION OF ARYLMAGNESIUM BROMIDES WITH PERFLUORODICARBOXYLIC ESTERS

The reaction of phenyl-, m-tolyl-, and mesityl-magnesium bromides with methyl and ethyl perfluoroglutarates, perfluoroadipates, and perfluoropimelates was investigated.It was established that the character of the products formed in the first and second stages of these reactions depends on the structure of the radical of the organomagnesium compound and the alkoxy group in the ester and does not depend on the number of difluoromethylene groups in the esters.
