Description
N-ACETYL LEUKOTRIENE E4, also known as N-acetyl LTE4, is the major inactive metabolite of Leukotriene E4 (LTE4) found in bile. It is 100 times less potent than Leukotriene C4 (LTC4) as a vasoconstricting agent. In humans, the urinary excretion of N-acetyl LTE4 is considerably less than that of LTE4.
