Usage

BacitracinMethyleneDisalicylate is a topical antibiotic ointment that contains bacitracin, a polypeptide antibiotic, and methylene disalicylate, an anti-inflammatory agent. Bacitracin works to inhibit bacterial cell wall synthesis by interfering with the dephosphorylation of the lipid carrier intermediates, preventing the transfer of peptidoglycan subunits to growing cell walls.
