Usage

General Description

(5alpha,17beta)-3-methylandrost-2-en-17-ol is a chemical compound that belongs to the class of androgens, which are male sex hormones. It is a derivative of testosterone, with a methyl group attached at the 3rd carbon and a hydroxyl group at the 17th carbon. (5alpha,17beta)-3-methylandrost-2-en-17-ol plays a role in the development and maintenance of male reproductive tissues and secondary sexual characteristics, and it also has anabolic effects on muscle growth and bone density. Additionally, it has been used in the treatment of conditions such as hypogonadism and certain types of breast cancer.
