The invention discloses a synthesis method of 2, 5-diaminophenylethanol sulfate and application of 2, 5-diaminophenylethanol sulfate in an anti-allergic hair dye. The preparation method comprises thefollowing steps: taking 6-chloro-1-isochromanone as an initial raw material; carrying out saponification reaction and then acidifying to obtain 4-chloro-2-(2-hydroxyethyl) benzoic acid; ammonifying 4-chloro-2-(2-hydroxyethyl) benzoic acid and stronger ammonia water in an autoclave to prepare 4-amino-2-(2-hydroxyethyl) benzamide, carrying out Hoffman degradation on the 4-amino-2-(2-hydroxyethyl) benzamide to obtain 2, 5-diaminobenzeneethanol, and salifying with concentrated sulfuric acid to obtain the 2, 5-diaminobenzeneethanol sulfate in one step. The method has the advantages of the short synthesis process route, mild reaction conditions, the simple operation, low cost, high yield and the like, and the obtained 2, 5-diaminophenylethanol sulfate is used as a dye component to be applied tothe anti-allergic hair dye. Tests show that the hair dyeing property and color fastness are good when the hair dye is used for dyeing hair; and compared with the use of p-phenylenediamine as a dye component, the dye composition can effectively reduce irritation and has no sensitization reaction to skin.
