isophorone (ipho) is an unsaturated cyclic ketone with highboiling point. it's an isomers mixture of a-isophorone (3,5,5-trimethyl-2-cyclohexen-1-one) and b-isophorone (3,5,5-trimethyl-3-cyclohexen-1-one). as a result of its particular chemical structure, isophorone has an excellent dissolving power for various organics, polymers, resins and chemical products.
