rice syrup is light sweet syrup, used as sweetener(popularly known as liquid glucose). this syrup is derived by cooking rice starch with saccharifying enzymes. rice-dextrin solution undergoes a heat-assisted saccarification, involving addition of enzyme isolates, which convert complex carbohydrates into a solution rich in simple carbohydrates. this solution is then evaporated, until desired water content (dry solid substance, ds) is achieved.
our rice syrup is made with non-gmo rice. rice syrup can be made from white rice, brown rice or certified organic rice. depending on application, syrup can be made as “traditional brown” or “clarified” in de ranging from 26 to 70. rice syrup is preferred sweetener for natural/healthy foods.
