tween series:polysorbate is made from sorbitol by three steps. first of all, sorbitol dehydrate to form the water soluble sorbitol, and the sorbitol reacts with fatty acids such as oleic acid and stearic acid to form hexose esters; finally, they react with ethylene oxide to form polysorbate.

application

1.widely used as o/w emulsifier, solubilizing agent, antistatic agent, lubricant, etc.;

2. in the textile industry as softener, antistatic agent, is a component of polyacrylonitrile spinning oil and fiber finishing softener, play a role in the elimination of static electricity and improve fiber softness and dyeing properties;

3. used as stabilizer and foaming aid in the production of polyurethane foam plastics;

4. used as emulsifier, oil wax agent, thickening agent, lubricating oil near the wellbore treatment agent;

5. used as an emulsifier for mineral oil, a solvent for dyes, an emulsifier for cosmetics, a stabilizer for foam plastics, an emulsifier for pharmaceuticals, a diffuser and a stabilizer.
