arbutin used in cosmetic industry:

arbutin in medical use:

back in the 18th century, arbutin was first used in medical areas as an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial agent. arbutin was used particularly for cystitis, urethritis and pyelitis. these uses still until today where natural medicine uses only natural ingredients to treat any disease.

arbutin usage:

place one part of arbutin in 2-3 parts of deionized water. heat to 55-60 degree c while stirring, keep for 10 minutes until the solution is clear. pour the resulting solution into cosmetic preparation before emulsification, mix thoroughly. then add emulsifier and follow usual procedures.

the plant contains arbutin, ursolic acid, tannic acid, gallic acid, some essential oil and resin, hydroquinones (mainly arbutin, up to 17%), tannins (up to 15%), phenolic glycosides and flavonoids.

the leaves are picked any time during the summer and dried for use in infusions, liquid extracts, medicinal tea bags and tablets believed to be potentially effective in folk medicine.

bearberry appears to be relatively safe, although large doses may cause nausea, vomiting, fever, chills, severe back pain and tinnitus.it should not be used during pregnancy, breast feeding, or in children or patients with kidney disease.
