Excess molar enthalpies HmE have been measured at atmospheric pressure and 298.15 K for (ethyl acetate + n-butylmethylamine or di-n-propylamine or di-n-butylamine) and for (ethyl propionate + n-butylmethylamine or di-n-propylamine or di-n-butylamine). All the mixtures have HmE > 0. For the esters HmE decreases when the aliphatic chain increases in length. For the symmetric amines HmE increases with the number of carbons in the amine chain but for the asymmetric amines the behaviour is different.
