Production method of this chemical: The [1,1'-Biphenyl]-4-carboxylicacid, hydrazide could be obtained by the reactant of Biphenyl-4-carboxylic acid ethyl ester. This reaction needs the reagent of NH2NH2*H2O, and the solvent of ethanol. The yield is 85 %. In addition, this reaction should be taken for 3 hours at the temperature of 100 °C.

The [1,1'-Biphenyl]-4-carboxylicacid, hydrazide could be obtained by the reactant of Biphenyl-4-carboxylic acid ethyl ester.

Uses of this chemical: The Biphenyl-4-carboxylic acid N'-(2-cyano-ethyl)-hydrazide could be obtained by the reactants of acrylonitrile and [1,1'-Biphenyl]-4-carboxylicacid, hydrazide. This reaction needs the solvent of ethanol. The yield is 51 %. This reaction should be taken for 22 hours. The other condition is heating.

The Biphenyl-4-carboxylic acid N'-(2-cyano-ethyl)-hydrazide could be obtained by the reactants of acrylonitrile and [1,1'-Biphenyl]-4-carboxylicacid, hydrazide.
