Uses of 3-Methyl-2-butenal: it can be used to produce 1-trimethylsilyloxy-3-methylbuta-1,3-diene at the ambient temperature. It will need reagent Et3N, ZnCl2 and solvent benzene with the reaction time of 18 hours. The yield is about 81%.
