Confirmed human carcinogen with experimental carcinogenic and tumorigenic data. Poison by ingestion and intraperitoneal routes. Human mutation data reported. An irritant. Effects resemble those of benzidine. See also BENZIDINE. Slight to moderate fire hazard when exposed to heat, flames (sparks), or powerful oxidizers. To fight fire, use water spray, mist, dry chemical. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of NOx. See also AROMATIC AMINES.
