Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 1008506-24-8 includes 10 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 7 digits, 1,0,0,8,5,0 and 6 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 2 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 1008506-24:
(9*1)+(8*0)+(7*0)+(6*8)+(5*5)+(4*0)+(3*6)+(2*2)+(1*4)=108
108 % 10 = 8
So 1008506-24-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
