The products of decomposition of the compound CaO2 · 2H2O2 in vacuum at room temperature in the presence of calcium hydroxide and calcium peroxide doped with potassium hydroxide are characterized by chemical analysis, X-ray powder diffraction, and vibrational spectroscopy. Conversion of the initial substance into Ca(OH)O2 is shown to be independent of the presence of additives. Different versions of the radical mechanism of disproportionation of compound CaO2 · 2H2O2 are discussed.
