Direct copper(I)-catalyzed cycloaddition of organic azides with TMS-protected alkynes
A methodology for the direct use of trimethylsilyl-protected alkynes in the copper(I)-mediated alkyne-azide cycloaddition reaction without the need of a previous deprotection step is reported.
