The invention discloses biscyclopenteno[cd,lm]pyrene derivative, and a preparation method and an application thereof. In the method, 1,2,7,8-tetrahydrobiscyclopenteno[cd,lm]pyrene and a bromination reagent are raw materials, peroxide is used as a catalyst and CCl4 is used as a solvent, all the components are added to a one-neck bottle and are stirred at 60-90 DEG C for a reaction overnight to prepare the corresponding 1,2,7,8-tetrahydrobiscyclopenteno[cd,lm]pyrene; then, in the presence of a palladium catalyst and an alkaline reagent, the 1,2,7,8-tetrahydrobiscyclopenteno[cd,lm]pyrene and a borate reagent are subjected to Suzuki reaction to prepare the biscyclopenteno[cd,lm]pyrene derivative. The synthesize route of the biscyclopenteno[cd,lm]pyrene derivative is simple and effective, wherein the raw materials are commercial products, so that the method is low in synthetic cost and has universality. The method can be popularized to synthesis of biscyclopenteno[cd,lm]pyrene derivatives with various different substituent. The product has excellent application prospect in organic semiconductor devices such as field effect transistors.
