142469-14-5 Usage

Uses

Used in Agricultural Industry:
TRITOSULFURON PESTANAL is used as a broad-spectrum post-emergent dicotyledonous herbicide for controlling various weeds in cereals, rice, maize, and turf. It is applied at a rate of 40-75 g a.i. ha?1 and is effective against a wide range of weeds, including T. arvense, Mercurialis annua, Urticaurens, C. arvense, Veronica hederifolia, Chenopodium spp., S. arvensis, C. bursapastoris, G. tetrahit, Matricaria spp., G. aparine, Polygonum spp., C. cyanus, Lamium spp., M. arvensis, S. media, Vicia spp., Convolvulus arvensis, Sonchus arvensis, and B. napus.
In Cereal Crops:
TRITOSULFURON PESTANAL is used as a selective herbicide in cereal crops such as wheat, rye, barley, triticale, oat, durum wheat, and spelt. It was commercialized by BASF in 2004 under the trade name "Biathlon?" as a water-dispersible (WG) formulation containing 714 g kg?1 tritosulfuron and is applied at a rate of 50 g a.i. ha?1. The application window for tritosulfuron in all winter and summer cereals ranges from vegetation start-up to growth stage (GS) 39.
In Maize:
TRITOSULFURON PESTANAL, sold under the trade name "Tooler?," is used as a herbicide in maize and can be applied from growth stage (GS) 12 to GS 18.
Environmental Considerations:
One of the advantages of TRITOSULFURON PESTANAL is its short soil half-life (DT50), which allows for recropping after 60 days without the need for plowing. This characteristic makes it a more environmentally friendly option for weed control in agricultural settings.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 142469-14-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,4,2,4,6 and 9 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 1 and 4 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 142469-14:
(8*1)+(7*4)+(6*2)+(5*4)+(4*6)+(3*9)+(2*1)+(1*4)=125
125 % 10 = 5
So 142469-14-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

Method for producing a solid herbicide formulation

-

, (2008/06/13)

The invention relates to a method for producing a solid herbicide formulation containing a) a herbicide from the group of sulfonylurea, or the salts thereof which are useful in the agricultural domain, b) optionally at least one other herbicide, c) optionally a safener, and d) at least one formulation adjuvant. A suspension is formed in water, consisting of the sulfonylurea a), optionally at least one other herbicide b), optionally a safener c) and at least one formulation adjuvant d). The suspension is adjusted to a pH value between 6.5 and 8 by adding an acid or a base, and is then dried to obtain the solid formulation.
