147923-47-5 Usage

Uses

Used in Pharmaceutical Industry:
BOC-D-4,4-BIPHENYLALANINE is used as a key intermediate in the synthesis of pyrrolopyrimidine inhibitors of Akt, which are considered as antitumor agents. These inhibitors target the Akt protein, a serine/threonine-specific protein kinase that plays a significant role in cell survival, growth, and angiogenesis. By inhibiting Akt, these compounds can potentially suppress tumor growth and progression.
BOC-D-4,4-BIPHENYLALANINE is also used in the preparation of (-)-Bestatin-based inhibitors. Bestatin, a naturally occurring aminoglycoside antibiotic, has been found to possess antitumor and immunomodulatory properties. The development of (-)-Bestatin-based inhibitors using BOC-D-4,4-BIPHENYLALANINE can lead to the creation of more potent and selective therapeutic agents for cancer treatment.

Check Digit Verification of cas no

The CAS Registry Mumber 147923-47-5 includes 9 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 6 digits, 1,4,7,9,2 and 3 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 7 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 147923-47:
(8*1)+(7*4)+(6*7)+(5*9)+(4*2)+(3*3)+(2*4)+(1*7)=155
155 % 10 = 5
So 147923-47-5 is a valid CAS Registry Number.
