Check Digit Verification of cas no
The CAS Registry Mumber 25612-46-8 includes 8 digits separated into 3 groups by hyphens. The first part of the number, starting from the left, has 5 digits, 2,5,6,1 and 2 respectively; the second part has 2 digits, 4 and 6 respectively.
Calculate Digit Verification of CAS Registry Number 25612-46:
(7*2)+(6*5)+(5*6)+(4*1)+(3*2)+(2*4)+(1*6)=98
98 % 10 = 8
So 25612-46-8 is a valid CAS Registry Number.

, p. 1673 - 1676 (2007/10/03)
A new synthetic route to reduced collagen crosslinks (LNL and HLNL) is described in this report. It enables an enantioselective synthesis of LNL. HLNL was obtained as a mixture of two diastereoisomers. This method also provides the possibility to introduce radio-labels during the synthesis.
