Chemical compounds having structural formula I and physiologically acceptable salts and metabolites thereof, are inhibitors of serine/threonine and tyrosine kinase activity. Several of the kinases, whose activity is inhibited by these chemical compounds, are involved in immunologic, hyperproliferative, or angiogenic processes.
