- A stable multifunctional cadmium-organic framework based on 2D stacked layers: Effective gas adsorption, and excellent detection of Cr3+, CrO4 2?, and Cr2O7 2-
-
Multifunctional metal-organic frameworks incorporated with different applications have drawn great attention in chemistry and material science. Herein, a new luminescent compound with 1D microporous channels, namely [Cd(OBA)(L1).0.75DMA]n (1, H2OBA = 4,4′-oxybis(benzoic acid), L1 = 4-amino-3,5-bis(4-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazole), has been constructed and well explored, which features good thermal and chemical stability. The activated compound 1 with 10.2 ? channels calculated by HK method using N2 adsorption/desorption isotherms at 77 K, reveals a positive CO2 uptake capacity of 68.0 and 40.8 cm3 g?1 at 273 and 298 K, respectively, but it captures a relatively lower amount of CH4 gas under similar atmosphere. Meanwhile, the high H2 capture amount of compound 1 has been demonstrated with 165.2 cm3 g?1 (1.52%) at 1 atm, 77 K. Interestingly, this compound displays a prominently selective and sensitive response to Cr3+, CrO4 2?, and Cr2O7 2? in aqueous media. The detection limits of Cr3+, CrO4 2?, and Cr2O7 2? are calculated to be 10.25, 0.30, and 9.18 μM, respectively. Moreover, compound 1 can be easily regenerated and reused for detecting CrO4 2? and Cr2O7 2? at least three times. Remarkably, the test paper incorporated compound 1 can easily detect these three ions. All these results indicate that compound 1 is a multifunction material with potentials of CO2 selective adsorption and separation, high H2 uptake, high selectivity and sensitivity as well as excellent recyclability for Cr3+, CrO4 2?, and Cr2O7 2?.

- A luminescent zinc(II) coordination polymer as a highly selective and sensitive chemosensor for Fe(III) cation and Cr(VI) anions detection in aqueous solution
-
A double-bent-mixed-ligand supported 2-periodic coordination polymer (CP) {[Zn2(FDA)2(4-abpt)2(H2O)2]}n (1) has been synthesized from the unique combination of a bent furan-2,5-dicarboxylic acid (H2FDA) ligand and a bent 4-amino-3,5-bis(4-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazole (4-abpt) coligand. The CP 1 demonstrates readily dispersible two-dimensional (2D) 2-periodic layer structure and considerable chemostability in aqueous media. Luminescence titration experiments indicate that CP 1 can serve as chemosensors for sensitively and selectively detecting Fe3+ cation, CrO42? and Cr2O72? anions in water solution via an environmentally friendly manner. Besides, the luminescent selective quenching mechanism of CP 1 toward Fe3+ cation, CrO42? and Cr2O72? anions is comprehensively investigated in the light of absorption of the excitation energy of the host framework by individual analytes.

- A preparation method of isoniazid (by machine translation)
-
The invention discloses a preparation method of isoniazid. The method comprises the following steps: 1) performing esterification reaction to isonicotinic acid, alcohol and acylating reagent to obtain isonicotinic acid ester; 2) performing condensation reaction to isonicotinic acid ester and hydrazine hydrate and performing post-treatment to reaction liquid to obtain isoniazid finished products. The isoniazid is prepared firstly through esterification of isonicotinic acid and alcohol and then condensation of the obtained ester and hydrazine hydrate. The method can well control the content of impurities in the target product isoniazid, high-purity isoniazid can be obtained, the purity is above 99.9 percent and the content of individual impurity is smaller than 0.10 percent. The method is simple to operate, is easy to control and is applicable to industrial operation. In addition, by using recovered isonicotinic acid to prepare isoniazid, the cyclic utilization of resources can be realized, the waste emission is reduced, the cost is reduced and the method is very suitable for industrial production.

- Versatile Tailoring of Paddle-Wheel ZnII Metal-Organic Frameworks through Single-Crystal-to-Single-Crystal Transformations
-
A new tetracarboxylate ligand having short and long arms formed 2D layer ZnII coordination polymer 1 with paddle-wheel secondary building units under solvothermal conditions. The framework undergoes solvent-specific single crystal-to-single crystal (SC-SC) transmetalation to produce 1Cu. With a sterically encumbered dipyridyl linker, the same ligand forms non-interpenetrated, 3D, pillared-layer ZnII metal-organic framework (MOF) 2, which takes part in SC-SC linker-exchange reactions to produce three daughter frameworks. The parent MOF 2 shows preferential incorporation of the longest linker in competitive linker-exchange experiments. All the 3D MOFs undergo complete SC-SC transmetalation with CuII, whereby metal exchange in different solvents and monitoring of X-ray structures revealed that bulky solvated metal ions lead to ordering of the shortest linker in the framework, which confirms that the solvated metal ions enter through the pores along the linker axis.
