Compounds of the formula I, R1-(Ao)k-(Z1-A1)m-Zo-(E)n-(A2)o-(Z2-A3)p-R2 I, can be obtained from organoboron compounds of the formula II, R1-(Ao)k-(Z1-A1)m-Zo-B(Y)2 II, and compounds of the formula III, X-(E)n-(A2)o-(Z2-A3)p-R2 III, wherein is the compounds of the formulae I, II and III Ao, A1, A2, E, R1, R2, Zo, Q, X, Y, K, m, n, o and p have the meaning given in claim 1 by coupling in the presence of a metal compound in high yields.
