The invention discloses a synthetic method for 6-bromopurine. The synthetic method comprises the following steps: with hypoxanthine and phosphorus oxybromide as raw materials, subjecting the raw materials to a heating reflux reaction under the action of an organic solvent and a quaternary ammonium salt; and after completion of the reaction, carrying out vacuum filtration to remove liquid so as toobtain 6-bromopurine. The synthetic method of the invention reduces the usage of phosphorus oxybromide, lowers reaction temperature, shortens reaction time and reduces production cost of 6-bromopurine.
