Facile synthesis of acridine derivatives by ZnCl2-promoted intramolecular cyclization of o -arylaminophenyl schiff bases
Su, Qing,Li, Pei,He, Mina,Wu, Qiaolin,Ye, Ling,Mu, Ying
supporting information, p. 18 - 21 (2014/01/23)
A concise and efficient method for the synthesis of a wide range of acridine derivatives and polycyclic aza-aromatic compounds from a ZnCl 2-promoted cyclization reaction of readily available o-arylaminophenyl Schiff base compounds under convenient conditions was developed. Reaction conditions and scope of the new method were examined in detail.

Xu, Tieqi,An, Haiyan,Gao, Wei,Mu, Ying
scheme or table, p. 3360 - 3364 (2011/01/11)
A series of novel chromium complexes that bear anilidoimine ligands, [{oriho-C6H4(NAr")(CH=NAr")}CrCl 2(thf)2] [Ar' = Ar" = C6H5 (1); Ar' = Ar" = P-MeC6H4 (2); Ar' = Ar" = 2,6-Me2C6H3 (3); Ar' = 2,6-iPr 2C6H3, Ar" = 2,6-Me2C 6H3 (4); Ar' = Ar" = 2,6-iPr2C 6H3 (5)], have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and ESI-MS. The molecular structures of complexes 1 and 2 have been confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. When activated with methylaluminoxane (MAO), these complexes exhibit reasonable to good catalytic activity for ethylene polymerization and produce polyethylene with moderate molecular weights.
